Ciao!  I’m Elisabetta. 

I have been leading tours and experiences in Venice and across Italy for 20 years and have worked with Active Odysseys founder Chris Montgomery throughout that whole time.

I am a sixth-generation native Venetian and a registered guide and it will be my pleasure to share the REAL Venice with you.  You will experience the people, the places, and the flavors made for and by Venetians.  I am excited to take you deep inside the soul of this incredible city and go far beneath the surface of its culture.  As a runner myself, I know all the best routes in the city…and I share that special runner’s mentality.

 I can’t wait to meet you all and to explore the amazing regional wonders of the truly unique place I call home…

Tour Director gratuities - while tips are at your own discretion and are not mandatory, they are an industry-standard component of a Tour Director’s income in Europe, much like for workers in the service industry in the U.S.  A customary tip for a “job well done” by Elisabetta for the 5-day Venice trip would be $60 per person.  She will be worth every cent!
